The 30th Annual NALTA Conference and Anniversary Celebration is only 40 days away!  We are very quickly approaching our deadlines for conference early registration and our hotel room rate.  Early registration for Conference ends on August 7Fees increase by $100 after August 7 and registration closes on August 24.   HOTEL ROOMS MUST BE RESERVED BY AUGUST 8TH

**UPDATED** WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT FUNDRAISER-More prizes have been added to the Raffle and WWP has donated a fabulous Door Prize.  Remember to donate and be entered into the drawing for the WWP raffle prizes.  You need not be present to win these fabulous gifts!

THURSDAY NIGHT EVENT-THE PUNCH BOWL SOCIAL:

NALTA members will be treated to an outstanding laid-back night at the Punch Bowl Social.  Located inside the Pioneer Place Mall (where shopping is tax free!), Attendees will enjoy four hours of food, bowling, Ping Pong, 2 Karaoke Rooms, Floor Shuffle, Darts, and Corn Hole.  Coin operated games are also available.  Check out the link below to the Punch Bowl Social.

If you are an active or veteran Military and wish to join in the processional and recognition during our special 9/11 morning breakfast processional, please contact the 1st VP-Dawn Lindley, @ nalta1vp@nalta.org and provide me with your name, Military Branch, and Rank.

FRIDAY MORNING-SPECIAL 9/11 ANNIVERSARY:

The morning breakfast session begins as the University of Portland Army ROTC will present and post the colors of the United States of America, followed by a processional of members and their spouse or guest who are active or retired Military.  Members of the Oregon Fire Choir-Portland Fire Department will perform “I’m Proud to be an American” during this Processional.  Following the introduction of these members, the Oregon Fire Choir will sing “The National Anthem”.  Raul Perez will wrap up this special morning breakfast session by introducing a representative of the Wounded Warrior Project and they, together, will announce the winners of the special WWP fundraiser door prizes.  See the attached flyer and the below information for ways to donate and enter to win.
