Topic: Texas Oil & Gas and GLO
We will take a look at the historical classification of state owned lands and how it can impact your practice. Will also look at issues related to post-production expenses and allocation wells to show how the state lease form is evolving in response to both legislative updates and changes in the industry.

Mr. Havens serves as the General Counsel for Texas Land Commissioner, George P. Bush. Mr. Havens began his legal career as an associate with Harbour, Smith, Harris and Merritt in Longview, Texas before becoming the director of the Oil and Gas Legal Section at the General Land Office.
