Selders is a community leader, entrepreneur and health advocate based in Garland, Texas. He currently serves as Trustee on the Garland ISD School Board, and is a member of the Texas Association of School Boards Leadership Class of 2018.

Selders also serves on the Baylor Scott & White Board of Directors for the Garland Medical Center, the Hope Clinic Community Advisory Council, the Council of Urban Boards of Education and the Richland College Management/Business Administration Advisory Committee.
Selders earned a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Southern University and A&M College (Summa Cum Laude) and a Master of Science in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Almost a decade ago, he left power design engineering to refocus his work on health and wellness. Selders operates 3Q Fitness in Garland, and holds a Master’s degree in exercise science from the California University of Pennsylvania.
